The Ohio Chapter ISA and the Holden Arboretum staff are putting on a 7-week lecture series to improve the arborists' understanding of trees, and to help study for the ISA Certified Arborist exam.
The classes will be on Wednesday evenings at the Holden Arboretum, in Kirtland, Ohio, beginning October 20 and ending December 8. The lecture and discussions will go from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.
Subjects presented will be: Tree Biology, Tree Identification, Soil Science, Plant Health Care, Pruning, Urban Forestry and Risk Management, and Working Safely.
