hey trevor, we had the people from cambistat come by and give us a demo and mini seminar two years ago and i been using it selectively since. i used it on a silver maple (acer saccharinum) and a white oak (quercus alba) both had severe tip dieback from construction damage to the roots. so then i gave both trees a basal drench with the cambistat and removed the dead tips back to the closest live growth and then i maintained a soil ammendment regimine that started with mycor biopak plus and from there a yearly application with adams earth and both trees responded better than i expected and to this day look remarkably well. since then ive used it a couple of times on pre-constuction trees and i am sold . its a great product and is another great tool to add to our bag of tricks but i do caution its not for every tree problem and must be used selectvely . i find from my research that trees with diseased root systems or trees with deeply set in vascular diseases are not good canadates even though the people at cambistat state other wise. but as i said it is a great product and does have its place in arboriculture and when i feel it can help me with a declining tree i will not hesitate to consider using it. also if your company has not had a seminar with the cambistat people give them a shout they will gladly stop by for a presentation . hope this helps you out in your decision making . p.s. both trees were from my estimation 80 to 100 years old
