Bucket Bail Out Line

I swear I've seen them before, but my goole fu is failing me today. I sweat it was a little mini throwline mug storage bag, but wieghted on the bottom so it can fall through a trees canopy. I'm looking for something that will store ~100 feet of throwling/2-4mm corgage with the intent that if the operator needs to self rescue, they have a line to send to the ground to haul a climb line/appropriate harness up with. Something that will live on the boom/basket so small size is preferred.

What are you guys and gals using?

Someone was making a weighted bag but my memory fails me also. Put an old throw weight in a line mug? New Tribe or Weaver medium.

Husky makes a cool little rigid bucket that I'd imagine would work great for this....they sell them at home depot or lowes

There’s several options out there. Sterling makes one that’s nice and compact. Our company just has a throw line pouch with 75’ of throw line and a weight that can be used to haul up a climb line. Oddly enough we had to use this with our 1 year old bucket truck due to a mechanical error. The truck had some kind of electrical malfunction and the electric override didn’t work. Had to repel out as a T-Storm was moving in. Company fixed the issue under warranty but we were grateful for the throw line we kept in the bucket.

I have several throwline Mini Mug bags.
The ones w/ heavy weighted bottoms don't have any branding ? ? ? (I'm guessing they were TCC volunteer gifts.)
TreeStuff does not list something exactly like that.

New Tribe still lists Mug Bags. They are not weighted, but mine has a webbing loop inside the bottom that could easily be used to attach 1 or more throw balls for weight; plus the end of the throw line.

I'd use a small screw link for "permanent" weights; then a carabiner to attach the line.

If the truck were on fire, or energized, that might not be the best method for quick, or safe exit.
