Interesting to see strength loss from twists, water soaked and an overhand knot in two inch ratchet straps

For those who’d like to skip to the conclusion, 1 twist actually slightly increases the breaking strength, many twists decreases. A knot decreases greatly. A wet strap decreases slightly. The data is in the image below

helps avoid the abrasion damage from vibrating on an edge the whole trip

Tom I saw that video a little while ago and found the results totally what we would expect.
What I found extremely interesting was that guys shop, can you imagine having that much gear and space to put it in! I have a lot but by the time I pull it out set it up and do everything is just not that easy.

his shop is awesome, wouldnt mind having one myself, just too many flat surfaces to collect tools and dust
