Gage Tree Service has just opened our new branch near Jacksonville, Florida ahead of schedule due to Irma. We're on beautiful, laid back, Amelia Island. Lots of beaches.
We're looking for an arborist to manage a 3 to 4 person crew and do sales and estimating. This is a great chance to get in on the ground floor. This will be a simple operation with good equipment and just a nice steady pace. We don't micromanage and having come from a background of years in the trees, we appreciate what our guys do to get the job done. This is northeast Florida. The trees are more like you're expect in Georgia, not tons of palms like south Florida.
We're looking for someone genuinely interested in trees, if not certified then can get certified quickly. This would be a great position for someone scaling back from production climbing, or even a climber who is comfortable doing sales and managing a crew.
Pay is salary plus performance bonuses. We expect annual earnings to be around $75k, but depending on experience and drive, could range from $50k to $100k.
