Saw these ropes anyone every seen them before. Or have any thoughts? Seem to cheap to be good.

Specs look good, hell rope looks good too especially the blue color and we all know that's most important!
Braids & lace is legit, price is great, well price for the rope, their spliced eye price is a bit over the top. Quick thought is that USD or Canadian?

Buy one and let us know what's up! Then if you want a splice and can't DIY have it shipped directly to a stateside arbor retailer that does splicing and get the hand splice done for a reasonable price then have it shipped on to you and still save money over their outrageous fee, $45 for one eye, Jesus...

I have both. The Wizard line (11.7) is awesome. Easy to splice, little stretch, a so far durable. Not as big a fan of the Crown King, but a lot of that has to do with preferring smaller diameter ropes. It's my permanent HH2 rope and only comes out for dirty removals. Not too often you get a true 1/2" 24-strand, so that's nice.

Overall you can't beat the price, but be aware they charge shipping "at cost" and use a freight service. So shipping cross border could be pricey unless you're buying in bulk.

Regarding the $45 splicing fee. That's $35 US, which isn't obscene when you consider they don't have a full time splicing department. They're manufacturers, so they probably only have one or two guys on staff who can even splice.

So it is Canadian money? That'd make a spliced 150' hank of wizzard $135 USD shipped to my zip code here in Ohio!
And you're right, $35US for a splice from the ropes manufacturer isn't bad.

I have have had the wizard line for a while now and it has been nothing short of fantastic. Not bouncy, knots well, SRS on an akimbo and wrench very well, MRS with hitch climber is awesome...easy class 1 double braid splice. For the price I am not sure it can be beat. Polyester cover over a polyester core so it is durable and has held up well. My most recent rope is hyper climb and thinking about it now, the wizard line feels fairly similar to my hyperclimb

I was gonna try it too, and just never got around to it. Really a lot of rope going on in my situation, but a couple are getting old and worn now. Holler if you wanna split a spool, I’ll go halves and pay the shipping on my part.

Honestly it only seems worth it to buy the spool I’d just need to find a splicer do you splice?
