Boxer Grinder Attachment

I am purchasing Boxer Brute this week and will be looking for a stump grinder attachment for it. Any pros or cons? I normally would sub out my stumps but my retired co-investor wants to grind stumps for a couple extra bucks here and there. I've seen the Boxer one but I know there are a few others available. Any help is definitely appreciated.

80% of the stumps I deal with are in that range 12-14". The others are under 24" on occasion I will see a 30-40" but rarely. I was headed out to buy a sc-252, but this came along and it will make my whole life easier. A dedicated grinder is nice but I see so much more with the mini. Budget after purchase= 0.00, but will increase quickly enough. I would love to get a self powered unit for the Boxer, but that is out of the question for now.

I have the toro, works pretty good when you learn the tricks. It's best to drive into the stump instead of using the bucket tilt. I think I paid $2500 and bought it as a demo unit.

I have the toro and would like to sell it. Has greenteeth 700 (red) on it and if I can find them, an extra set of raycos. Comes with hoses, quick disconnects, debris deflector (rubber flaps are a little torn). I bought the 38 special from Dave at topnotch and therefore it just sits. I do believe that if you were to test the hydro drive you would confirm a little bit of bypass... I'm not sure of this but I want to be up front about it. Because of the doubt with the hydro drive, I'd like $1,500.

Thanks

Toro stx 26. If you can't afford it...finance it. It will pay for itself in a matter of months if you are busy. We are very impressed with it after hundreds of stumps in less than a year.

After talking with Dave last week, it looks like that is the route I will take as well. Thanks

you're welcome; if you decide to go with sandvik go ahead and get yourself a diamond wheel / grinder combo if you don't already have one. I think the sandvik grinds much better but a little bit of a pain taking all those teeth off to grind on a bench grinder... a little easier to touch 'em up while still on the wheel
