OK so my father always used Stihls. I always ran Stihls to until they decided to sell us a $650 paper weight which they informed us there was nothing wrong with (201t) but offered to sell a fix for the non existent problem? I decided I didn't want to do business with a company who would treat its customers like that. So since then we have been running Huskys which tend to be cheaper and I have been very impressed with to date.

Anyways we have a 562 which we use doing crane work . Cuts great and we were impressed till it locked up after 6 months. I took it back to the dealer and much to my relief they are going to replace the motor at no cost to me.

Just a shout out to Husky for being a stand up company, Stihl should take note .

I had problems with my 562 when I first got it. Turns out the original ignition modules were problematic. Husky replaced and refined the saw. No fuss at all and it has been good since. I also had a 550xp crack a fuel tank at the seam. Same deal no pushback from husky.

My first husky was a 550, that saw sold me. Never had an issue with it.

Now Ihave a 550, 562, 2x 572s , 395 and a 3120. Only stihl Ihave left is a couple 200t s . Shame when a company forgets who pays their bills...

Muy importante to keep the air filter on the 562 & 550 extremely clean. Feed em some high quality, high test fuel and both run like raped apes.

How do you like the 572 Paul? Probably my next new saw.

I’ve been looking at the 572 too ... I love my 562 and I’m hoping the 572 performs similarly to a 460, thinking ~32” bar

I’ve had 3 562’s. The first went more than four years before it needed a new carb. The second went less than 2 before it developed air leaks and needed new crankcase bearings (not worth the $500 to repair so it is a parts saw now). The 3rd is almost a year old.

It is a very powerful saw and not heavy at all
We love it

The first saw I bought other then a climber was the 562. I have a 24 inch bar on it which I find is a touch to long but I’ve really had 0 issues over all
