Best Office Program?

I'm wondering what programs other businesses out there are using. I'm seeking a program that can help with keep all clients, jobs, estimates, notes, etc. in one, relatively easy place to use and access. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I've seen some advertisement for Arborgold. Has anyone used that?

I'm using arborgold sprout right now and have been since expo. I've said it multiple time on different threads, it's a huge time saver for me. It interfaces with quick books online (I don't have it set up yet).
It is a fairly new program and I got into it between beta testing and release. Christian and his team have been absolutely fantastic with support, hearing its users out and making positive change. They are super happy to hear feed back and ver responsive to making things easier.
Sprout is designed for smaller companies and it has been working great for me. @Michelle Myers is also a great resource if you are on the fence, she helped to convince me.

Ps. Where is Vass... and welcome to the buzz!

I know this thread basically died in a couple weeks ago, but, I wanted to confirm what flying squirrel said. We were the original beta testing company for Arbor Gold Sprout, there is no other software, for under 25 employee, tree care companies out there like Sprout! We have been using it since the end of last September, it is incredible! We were formerly with Servsuite, and hated it. It is quite possibly the most fully functional, easiest to use, practical, and cheapest software on the face of the planet. Arbor Gold knew that they were getting a bad rap for great software but really high price, so they created sprout. As of now, there's not a lot of press, but my gut tells me that half the tree care companies in America will be using this thing in the next two years. The problem with most software companies is the designers think they get a prize for the more things the software can do, which means that most of us only end up using about 10% of any particular piece of software, and 90% of it goes unused cause the average Joe can't figure it out. Also, they brag about how there are 10 ways to do one thing, I don't want 10 ways to do one thing, I want to find the best way and make that really simple. Christian Elpers and his crew at Arbor Gold finally got it, they designed arborist software for the guy that is still running his company from his kitchen table! BTW, I don't get a commission from these guys, I just think it is head and shoulders above everything else that is out there(and we have tried several of them)! Also, we run six daily crews on average and the software suits us perfectly. I think it cost $60 a month For the first user and $10 for every user after that, there is no contract, there is no initial startup fee, no $800 training fee (if the software is so complicated that you have to charge money to train people to use it, then it's crappy software), you can probably figure this thing out and in a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon. I wish this had been around when it was me and three guys out doing tree work every day, good stuff!

@Steve Pikes Tree Care you made several great points that with my small company I didn't even think of. I have only tried Sprout, but work with guys that use Jobber, quickbooks and others. And as a customer I get frustrated when I have to call them and tell them to take the tax off, or fix the total. I too run my business from the kitchen table. I literally spent 2 days last fall inputting customers and jobs, but after a couple, things got really easy. Its very intuitive. And when I did have an issue and quick email or call to Christian had the problem solved in short work. Extremely good customer service.

We have been using jobber for over a year now and love it. It is really easy to fix the total or remove/adjust the tax.

Whats the big difference between Jobber and Sprout? I know nothing about sprout.
Jobber has been great for our needs and is always getting better. We are a one crew (3 guys) operation. Just built an office at our shop and moved it from my house/kitchen table!lol
I have always been able to get a human on the phone to talk me through any issues I've had.

The tax is one of the things that bothered me about jobber. You have to adjust it. With sprout, I set up my service list and check whether it's a taxable service or not. It calculates automatically by that and the tax level set by the address (state). The one wrinkle I had to work through with Christian is I work in two states, one that has taxable services and one that is tax free. We are now setting up reports that separate my income per state and per zip code so I can deal with sales tax (PA) and quarterly income tax (DE).

I've never used jobber but I can tell you that we use sprout from start to finish, from first call to final invoice. I walk around customers yards with an iPad Pro using the talk to text feature. The simplicity of it is mind blowing. If you want more details I wrote an article for TCIA magazine that came out in the November or December issue last year it's called 'going from paper to the cloud' it describes the process pretty well and it is probably archived online.
