Beech Dismantle

Last few cuts on a Beech dismantle, anything where the butt end might've punched big holes in the asphalt was rigged and run to ground tips first to take the sting out of it. The higher top sections were light enough not to damage the asphalt.

Haunting. I like the Enya ambience. Why was the removal requested?

Cheers,

The tree had been identified for removal during a hazard tree survey, Kretzchmaria deusta fungi was present on lower trunk. Areas in red gone. Hence the minimal rigging and letting it run to ground on anything that might've seriously wrecked the asphalt.

You can see a long column of decay running up the trunk in the third pic with necrotic bark visible. 4th pic shows no damage to road at end of job.

Great tree. pity.

Well it got a very majestic video omage for a funeral, great work on the take down as well. I noticed the guidance to keep the tops from over rotating.
