I notice Top Notch is selling these Cast loaders and there's a couple videos of an articulated one but I can't figure out if it's a prototype in development or available.

Those exposed tires are freaking me out. I can see feet getting mangled. Easy fix adding vertical plates to the operator platform.
Cute machine. Wonder what the tipping weight is ?

I agree about the wheels. Cool concept, but clearly not robust enough for most of us yet. Dude was standing on top of 2 counterweights the whole time. It just looks underbuilt for the tree market.

Reminds me of the DW Zahn.

Still room for innovation in our purpose built mini forwarder. With all the robotics and guidance technology anything is possible these days. Need something that can do stairs and cross exposed roots and turf without damage ideally. Some kind of a grapple self loader and ability to off load at at least 6 foot height. A price under $20,000 would be demanded as well. Hard to beat a pair of feet and a strong back so far.

Why isn't the engine in the back adding to the counter weight. More like the ditch witch zahn
