should be a good time, and i'm not saying that just cuz i'm in it and it's close to where i live :D

seriously the one out east was very awesome and very unique. very rarely, if ever, do we get to see a live action demo taking place in actual trees. sure maybe, climbing and rescue stuff but the rigging stuff, that's freakin awesome (y)

Any more tickets left?! I just heard about this and would sure love to make it up there.

It's the week after the event and I just wanted to post a public thank you to Sherrill Tree for putting it on.

It was really well done with lots of different things going on and available to suit a broad variety of interests. Three different presentations per day to take in, a lot of product including many new items on display by various manufacturers to handle, a bunch of merchandise shipped across the country to have available for immediate sale, and a lot of top end tree people to talk with and enjoy.

So much went into putting on a event of that caliber that I hope Sherrill got everything out of it they hoped for and more so that they want to do it again. Also the team of top notch Sherrill people on site made everything go along very well.

Oh, and while there watching one of the dynamic presentations with August Hunicke and crew taking apart a tree and measuring rigging forces applied I heard the wildest rumor that in the future there could be a practical crane use class demonstrated as well.

it was a great event, i almost wish i wasn't presenting so that i could catch the other presentations :p but i'm glad i was able to share info with so many people and humbled to have been given the opportunity. thanks everyone. climb safe, climb wise, climb on

The workshop you and Jared did was really well done Lawrence. It is just one more step in inspiring me to up my game in SRT. Which is starting to feel really rewarding by the way.

Thanks for all the info you shared and effort you put in.
