Anyone used a harness fitted First Aid Kit?

I have been considering harness layout, and wondering if it is actually worthwhile having the first aid kit stationed on the harness, vs having one on ground, opening up real estate on the harness.

Has anyone actually used the first aid kit on their harness, or heard of it being used?

I keep bandaids and eye drops in a pouch with my phone on the front of my harness, and a blood stopper in another that’s on the suspenders. I don’t see the logic of putting the kit in the back, hard to reach and can’t see what you’re doing.

Half roll of vinyl tape and a bandana always in my right side harness mini-bag (NT zippered pouch) used during a cat rescue the other day to keep the blood under control so I could make another grab attempt on a very feisty cat. And the usual "White Cross" coagulation powder/heavy absorbant bandage chainsaw wound first aid pack on the back. I've practiced opening it, works fine. Have never used it, aim to never use it on a daily basis as I run my saw.

I always carry an Israeli blood stopper.

The one time I used the bandage on my harness was for a handsaw "snakebite" on my knee. It just saved a trip to the ground for a band aid.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Must say I have ripped out fingernails, and deep gaffed myself in tree, and just ignored the blood and kept working. But in the case of chainsaw wound it makes sense...
