American Larch (Larix laricina)

I live in zone 6a in NJ. Have any of you seen this tree growing in this zone or warmer? I've read conflicting info about the heat tolerance. I thought I'd ask you guys. Non-native larches look very, very similar but I was wondering if anyone happen to know. Long shot but thanks for reading.
