Akimbo SRS vs. MRS

Any akimbo users out there (production Rock Exotica versions), do you find that you need to switch friction settings when you switch from SRS to MRS on the same rope? I'm thinking about crane work.

I use my Akimbo on Xstatic MRT on the crane with the same settings as I use for SRT. But I've found different ropes can be different, my Xstatic I don't but I do change my Drenaline slightly

I might just try it out "low and slow" so you know what to expect, if you have time. I'd hate to get on the ball and then want to make an adjustment to my Akimbo

I use calamine and have to loosen up the Akimbo when changing from SRS to MRS. It would still descend on the original setting, but in granny gear.

I will open up the top setting a couple of clicks and then enjoy the ride...super smooth and silky and I find the sweet spot is bigger in MRS...be safe and have fun

I use the akimbo both ways without problem. I do not adjust it. The ride is smoother mrt. The device alignment with the other leg of rope is just slightly impure in mrt mode and it does not bother me a bit. It's great for crane work for me.
