Has any body had experience with putting airbag suspension in a f 450 or something close too this truck. The trucks being used as a chip truck. Just curious how others made out, if any. Thanks

I've had airbag suspension in 2 dodge 1 GMC and now 2 Fords. I swear by them, but make sure you get the compressor as well.
Would you say you have more load capacity than regular spring?.. cost wize where were you at for switching over to the bags? And are you saying have the compressor to make them easily adjustable

Airbags just make the truck ride better at full weight capacity. I wouldn't really try to go above and beyond what the truck is rated for but it does give you more leeway. Yes, the compressor allows you to adjust your ride. Softer suspension when the truck is empty. They aren't that difficult to install.

I bagged a one ton cube van I used as a gear truck and once in a while trailer pulled

The load didn't vary much so I bought a quality bicycle pump with a built in gauge. It was easy to pump the bags a little every once in a while

For a chip truck I might go with on board air compressor

Harbor Freight has inexpensive 12v compressors
