A ‘love letter’ to nature

Paul, was that tree work over a cemetery, with a small ceremony before work?
The older gentleman is how I picture Mr. Osaka.

Thank you for the kind words. The forest segment was a Beech woodland. We had arranged to do it before the fall colours but a typhoon blew through and we all had to go out to do emergency work on the train lines, thankful for that delay though, the color was incredible. Production crew is called Shin Shun, a young team based in Tokyo. My boss, Iwasa san, is the elder chap and the other climber is Fujiwara san. Our friend Shizuru Ohtaka made the original song for us. How lucky we are !

Paul, if you don't mind answering, can you describe the significance or meaning of the circle symbol with the horizontal line across the center of it? This symbol is the one on the back of your blue coats (Hanten?) and in the movie. Thanks!

The meaning is simple, the circle is Zero (Maru) and the line One (Ichi), which is the company name. MARUICHI. It is common to have company names beginning with MARU. And you are correct, the coat is called a Hanten, dyed with Indigo.
