9/16 Dynasorb with a port a wrap

Has anyone found this combo to be a bit "grippy"? I have one season on the rope and port a wrap and it hasn't seemed to get any better. It's a large port a wrap, but anything more than a half wrap on it with medium weight items to rig and it won't run.
Thoughts/Tips?
All of my lines run through 4" CMI pulleys, so that shouldn't be an extra source of friction.

Keep the half wrap for med weight and have the ropeman to get a good glove to let the extra friction be added in the hand. Instead of it being theoretically 65 lbs of grip to hold the weight maybe they'll have to hold with 85 lbs of grip say instead. Luckily the polydyne has real good energy absorption and stretch at a higher wieght will occur if the load isn't allowed to run .

I have noticed this with all gear lines, and the suggestion for less wrapping and more gripping at the glove was our solution as well. Seems like the more dynamic the line, the grippier it is.
