7 min live commercial of you and your business of arboriculture

I need to come up with topics for the afore mentioned live speech. I am thinking of just touching on a few basics such as safety, correct vs. incorrect arbor/climbing practices, and plant health care. A couple visuals would be cool or maybe a video of something I dunno.

Can you guys help me come up with an outline for this?

It is for a networking working group. The purpose is to display the company and the industry. I can write the material and what not, no problem. But hearing other ideas never hurts.

I am really just looking for unique ideas, like "some show and tell" items, some good visual, I kinda want to avoid a power point power point. I also only have 7 min so I have to keep it somewhat I think?

Bring pics of your work. before and after pics of pruning jobs/removal/vids. write done within a dozen words or so what your company represents and stands for. tell people why they are making the right choice for choosing your company. be confident when you speak. tell people why going with a certified educated arborist is better then just a guy who cuts trees. you get the picture bro? hope this helps.

Just be honest and be yourself. Tell them about how you feel about your business and its placement in your town and in your local industry. What makes you special? What business do you like to focus on? those are the questions that if answered honestly sell you jobs

definitely mention no spikes for pruning, hazardous tree removals need to be judged by an expert, ISA trees are good, ansi stnadards, merging skill equipment and experience to provide high quality service, proper maintenance to prevent storm damage, cabling weakly jointed branch unions, reducing over reaching limbs, protecting their lawn and other plantings, leaving their property cleaner than when you got there. Use the ISA cert arb if you have it and mention continuing ed. and your own personal commitments and values

Who's your audience and what is the purpose of the talk. Is it to inform them generally or introduce you to them or is it a call to action? Given that it's a networking group and the whole point is to generate leads then I think you need it to be a call to action. That action is for them to think about leads they can give you immediately, and an understanding of what you represent and the nature of your business so they may feel confident to promote it to their clients. Overwhelming them with technical stuff with leave them unclear about the message you want them to be able to take away. Structure it to give them a sense of your business history, credentials, key market differentiators, who your market is, are you service and the range of services you offer. Your images should clearly present your work quality and the level of professionalism that is demonstrated on the job.

These people need to be confident that you are a good fit with them and their clients in order to refer you.

There is a simple rule: Try to interact with your audience as much as you can. Social media, website or whatever you come up with. The more people talk about you, the better. Keep it simple and most importantly - make sure that you offer something good. No matter how well you present a dog crap, it's still a dog crap and no one wants it... you know what I mean.
