6mm cordage of choice?

6mm whats your fav? I'm mainly talking about use as mini/lanyard prusiks, on rope from 10mm (bee-line, ocean)up to 11-11.7mm (velocity, tachyon, PI, ETC).

I have time on my hands and want to do some tinkering, just need to get some ideas on what to order before April.

BTW, it will eventually get a nice warm, shiny hug from the new DMM thimble!

Tech cord all the way, I dont know if anyone even sells globe in the states. The 5mm tech cord is what I float on my ultratech lanyard, works fantastic. I have a hank in my spares tote in the garage, always a useful product.

ive been using the 5mm tech cord for a ton of different applications and really like it but would like to try out some of the globe. where are you getting the globe from jimmy?

If you want to think out of the box, try a webbing sling like this: http://www.sterlingrope.com/product/243136/WB127DYSL/_/Dyneema_Sewn_Slings

This is the best product I've found for the link to clip into on my lanyard. New Englands 'Tech Cord' wouldn't "cinch" on my 7/16's" KM3, it would 'float' and drive me crazy. Tech cord is a great product, but not for that application. Like Jimmy said, it's too 'stiff' for a 7/16's" lanyard. It'll probably work better on 1/2" diameter line, if that's your choice.
The 10" webbing loop is sewn (no knots), I can get a 3 wrap, 6 coil prusik on the 7/16's" diameter, and it sticks in one spot. It's also easily adjusted. Just keep in mind it's "Dyneema", which has a very low melting point, but as a lanyard clip in point, it doesn't slide fast, so no worries.
