Yeah, final measurement at 30' here. Jeff Hafner told me he spent 5 hours shoveling his driveway, which is double wide and maybe 55' long. It's an el Nino year, which means we may not get another flake for two months, so this will make a big difference for soil moisture this winter.

Re: 26\", and still coming down

You bet! The local area, Eldora, has a 60" base, which is better than it usually has in March, most years. Been up twice, and have hit powder stashes well over 3' deep in the trees. Have had 3 very big dumps in 3 weeks, and another is supposed to come later this week. Good for skiing, bad for driving chip trucks/cleaning up yards.

We had 100mph winds today (which is common in Jan. around here), and trees are tipping over. We had a number of emergency calls. They are going over because the soil is saturated and not frozen under all that snow, which melts when the warm winds blow. Not anything like what they had in the PNW, but quite a few trees on houses.

Not a flake on the ground here. No ice on the lakes. I'm glad I didn't buy a snowmobile this year!

I guess I'll just have to go skiing in Colorado. Dang.
