So , are they different ? One is Stainless steel Cam and other is made of Aluminum cam ? Put a magnet on them and let us know.

I like Harken Ninja. The cam material is different between Ninja & Jetstep . That's what I heard. Ninja got stainless steel. Jet step got Aluminum. Same looks but not different in wear and tear , heavier or

The cam. the cam Materials differences.Thats what they says. Can you put magnet and see the differences ? Stainless steels must have magnetic pull .

There are non or barely magnetic stainless steels as well, they're pretty common.

But it seems Jetset is 0.01 g heavier . might be steel "plated" cams are bit thinker than Ninja ? LoL

I think Ninja came out first then Jetset came out later. So there should be some improvements on Jetset. It might be Jetset dual cams has more "meat" than Ninja? I dont know. It's just 0.01 g differences. Who gives a F , right? Stupid of me ....LMAO

Whatever it is they are damn good foot ascender to my mind. Very clever , very smart. I mean .... Wow. Level of improvements than any other previous type foot ascenders.

I share your sentiments but not all do. I have owned so many and these are by far my favs.

It was a collaboration between the companies, so the manufacturing entity launches their version, and the inspiring company gets theirs.

Same with the Rook/Hydra at RE

Same with the VFRD/GT between Maple Leaf Ropes and CMI.

It’s a way for both parties to profit off of the project.

I’ll add my .02, but it’s just another jetstep vote.

For anyone reading that has had trouble with the jetstep, where it’s positioned on the boot makes a big difference. If it’s too low, near the sole, it will cause more kickouts. It needs to ride higher, so it “leans back” and gravity pulls the line into the cams and not away from them.
