Its that time again! The Southern Chapter is hosting its Tree Climbing Championship Saturday, March 19th at Lakeshore Park (6410 S Northshore Drive, Knoxville, TN 37919). This year Scott Winningham and Scotty Olson will be orchestrating the circus in all 5 rings to narrow the field down to what I'm sure will be one heck of a Big Top Master's Challenge finish.

As always, the more the merrier! Come one! Come All! Volunteers Welcomed/Needed! Climbers....we still have spots!

Can someone tell me exactly what rope and hitch combos are acceptable for srt in the comp? A link to the specific rules would be nice too. Just want to make sure I'm prepared. Thanks

Rules are on the ISA website. They are the 2015 revision. The SRT rules regarding rope type and hitches have been relaxed a bit from what I can see.

I am happy to announce we have filled the initial 30 climber spots and opened 10 more. Volunteers are signing up. It is sure to be an awesome TCC. Come out and join us!

We are 1 week out from walk through, gear check and meetings! The gear trailer has been opened, cleaned and stocked. Buzzer battery charged. Stop watches checked.

If you haven't made plans to come out to at least hang out and enjoy the most important part......the fellowship, you are missing out.
