the machine is a 97 150xp. the guy says its a new Holland diesel and that's what the engine says. I called bandit and spoke with two diferent guys. the first guy said its probably a john deere diesel made by new Holland. the second guy said based off of the serial number that the chipper came with a ford diesel. he had no clue about a new Holland engine and said they never came with the chippers. he also added that if it was a jd it would say it. I cant find much info on this except a google search did find some references to "new Holland/ford diesels" on some tractor sites. the guy is the second owner but swears its the factory engine and I couldn't tell otherwise when i looked at it. can anyone shed some light on this for me? thanks

We have a 200xp in our arsenal that we speced out with a ford diesel. Air intake does say new holland on it...its a bsd 444 with 86 horsepower. No turbo. We got it cause we were told it was in production for like 40 years...used a lot in backhoes...bulliet proof motor.

That help?
