looking for wider climbing boots
Howdy, I've got skinny feet that suited my Scafell Lite's, but I have to give them up due to a brewing bunion. I'm not longer fussed about chainsaw protection, and I use my CanWest's when I spur. Gecko 2.0 replacement pads fit on Gecko OGs?
howdy. Anyone try converting the new Gecko 2.0 replacement pads for their old red cups? From the online pics the pad profile looks slightly different but not massively so. your gongfu is more powerful then their gongfu. And I just found good use for that yoga mat Reg Coates shamed me out of deploying in 'the field.' ;-) The foam tucks in perfectly. I have not used contact cement as yet, but the velcro holding the stock pad section can stick right to this stuff...- Kandelero

Hey Brocky. Will try your version on the other end when I've recuperated. Here's my first success using the 8mm after two fails with wire fid and the 1/2". Only took me four combined hours so money well saved there !!!- Kandelero

FYI: tapered the core. No love as the jacket was still locking on my fid alone. Sizing down to a 8mm fid solved it, but still a headache. On the plus side, there's no way this thing is ever puling out. (But I'm stitching it anyways)- Kandelero
