    Lightning protection maintenance question

    Are the "stand offs" (copper nails) easy to back out? wire is making some contact with tree. I have a feeling they might break. If they do, I guess i would detach the wire , and use a new stand off to pull the wire away from contacting the trunk. Just curious if anyone has spent any time doing...
