I will. It will take several pics to show it. If it doesn't work well with this post I can send it to you another way.

I know this is of topic but I have a new CTX myself and after MUCH research I have figured out what might be a perfect front and rear LED lighting system. As you know Vermeer didn't leave much wiggle room to accessorize. I'll post here or send you pics when I get it all rigged up if you are...
Have a wreck bad enough to throw those machines out of a trailer like that and tie downs aren't going to matter much IMO. Going a little slower than you normally would and driving defensively is the best safety measure. There's no reason to haul ass with weight like that behind you. It usually...
I got the quote just over a month ago when everything was getting busy. I didn't get any attachments because I already owned them. I'm not too hurt about it though. My salesman was able to tell me EVERYTHING about the design of the machine. They put a lot of thought into it. Its simplified as...
Wow. Wish that I would have seen this thread sooner. Just bought a CTX 100 from Vermeer Southeast last week. $38,500, no attachments. Price was firm. Don't know if its the region I'm in but that's quite a price difference. Admittedly I was sold on a new DW SK1050 but when I compared the CTX 100...
Wow. Is that your Thomas mini? Didn't expect to see that. My wife grew up in New Brunswick, Canada right down the road from their manufacturing facility. I visited it last year. Owner gave me a little tour of the place.

It has a good bit lower ground pressure than any unit they've ever made. I never said anything about it correlating. My comment suggests that it doesn't.

Ive never had issues with tearing up turf on my SK 850 unless the ground was pretty wet. Soft 3 pt. turns just like you would with a zero turn mower. Ive got a friend with a 1550 and he says that's can be hard on turf with the extra weight.

Yep Ditch Witch and Vermeer salesman have both told me that they are coming out with a larger unit. SK 2050 and CTX 150. The Ditch Witch will have a telescopic boom (I believe the guy said that the Vermeer will too but don't quote me on it).
The SK 1050 and CTX 100 are plenty of machine for me...
Colb. A little off topic but what part of the panhandle do you live in. Im in southeast Alabama right on the FL line.
Also I know that on newer Ditch Witch units they have a water separator and they recommend changing the fuel filter and creating the separator at least with every oil change...
That was exactly what stuck out to me the most on my 850 (1050). I use the machine within the scope of what it's designed for and I can honestly count on my hands how many times ive bogged the engine and it was always when I was trying to make it do something that I shouldn't have.
Believe it...
It is. It's a beast on my 850. I do all bid work. Mostly residential. But I can easily average $175-$200 per machine hour with this cutter.
And that blade in the pic. I haven't weighed them yet but they definitely weigh close to 10 lbs. a piece and hold an edge really well. Ive destroyed...
Yes sir. They have a contact number on their website. Just Google "Construction Implements Depot". They are out of Denton, NC.

No it's a company. Construction implements depot. They make a 44 in. rotary cutter for mini skid steers. Im not saying it's THE best, but it's the only name brand mini cutter on the market that utilizes a cutaway deck design. It allows you to take larger material without having to bend it under...
You got that right. Put a 44 in. CID on the 850. You wouldn't believe how big of a tree it can take down. Cuts thick brush like going through grass.

It all depends on what you're doing with it. Digging dirt and moving material or trees, no. Running attachments, maybe depending on the attachment and how hard you're trying to run it. Slowing your track speed so that you can milk the power out of your aux. flow makes a big difference. You won't...
