Accelerator pump kit is Stihl part number 1137 120 9704 or Zama part K053053. It’s probably around $10-15 at your dealer.

It’s a clamshell saw so it is sealed with liquid gasket. You want to stay with the stock engine, there isn’t room to increase the bore without it being detrimental to quality. Also, as far as I know there isn’t a larger displacement engine available. I just rebuilt one of these and put a meteor...
The limitation is generally based on the saws piling capacity. I saw a guy put a 36” on a 362 and cut a 30” log. It can be done, but the bar is going to overheat and wear way faster.

You are gonna have to wait for a California arborist to chime in. I’m in MN and I would not know the history of elm diseases in CA. That’s well outside of it’s normal range, but that’s not really an issue. I would recommend you find a local certified arborist to check out your tree. You can...
What state are you in? I have a hard time believing that you were told your tree has a disease when elms across the country are now dormant. Post a picture of the tree, and do you remember what disease it was? Dutch elm disease?

I’ve been running the 72’ tracked lift for over a year. I honestly feel it’s the best lift for the money. The only thing that needs to happen if you get it though is that the same person should run it everyday and be responsible for it. It’s so specialized that it needs a dedicated operator...
I think you’re selling yourself short. Try googling the 361 and you see there are video tutorials for testing it down and rebuilding it.
