    yew has shade needles and sun needles, if shade needles get exposed to intense sun they die. also i think they will stay for 8 years on the tree

    obviously im in a much different area but went the heavier route and am very happy. to be able to haul 3,5 metric tons while towing a chipper and still brake in a timely fashion.

    i don‘t know if there is a company in sweden aswell but gefa (german) is producing bracing system with a wide webbing and buckles. available both static and dynamic. i use it when there is not enough room for boa.

    i would guy the fallen tree and than climb it, strip it out. at some point i would tie into the upright tree and trigger the fallen tree.

    i know otherswho use the echo for removals, for removals i prefer a faster cutting saw. but it‘s possible i guess.

    its the dcs-2500 t even two friends of mine, who are diehard-gas-chainsaw-people, love this little thing.

    since i bought the little echo battery saw (i often forget it‘s on my harness) i use my silky much less… blades are expensive.
