Ok been pulling a single axle 1890 for a while with the f550. It's been great for me. I used to pull it with a f800 which was about the same. But then again I never drive on freeways, and all my work is within town.
I run a 37 ton effer. 6 sections on the main and only 4 extensions on the jib out of which only three are hydraulic. Idealistic 6 + 6 would probably be the best
After I drop my top down next to the chipper, I generally lift and rotate at the same time I also set my jib in position and re position the grapple saw so it's ready to grab by the time I get to the next limb. But I've realized running two functions is probably more efficient than trying to run...
this one was not as aggressive, but I can literally cut through both sides and it just perfectly balances and I move out of the way and I could just lift it real smooth.
