    since i bought the little echo battery saw (i often forget it‘s on my harness) i use my silky much less… blades are expensive.

    maybe a shorter length of rope instead of a chain. those will get frayed but will save your long winch line.

    those eliet and other tiny chippers are specialized chippers and definitely have their place but are a different animal than a 8“ tracked unit. i have an old 8“ jensen on a turntable trailer and if had the right jobs i would add a tiny chipper but never replace.
