My friend has a green harbor freight bandsaw mill. We put 10k board ft through it the last year. I've got slabs of everything worth having. Haven't made any money, but have furniture and hardwood workbench to show for it.

The number on it isn't on the IPL...
IPL shows 1145 120 4100 and that gets results on google, nothing on eBay. Dealer should cost 5-7 bucks.

I've seen two saws that have had a break like that. I'll take a look at the IPL and see what the description is in media cat.

As long as you don't get a dirt cheap model. My tester is from autozone and works fine, they had it for sale behind the counter. Check the piston through the exhaust and look through the spark plug hole at cylinder wall and top of piston. Being a small flashlight and scrench. Bring fresh mix or...
The TCIA has a training book that is good for new people, no hands on or actual cutting. I live in Minnesota and our state depart of nat resources runs a felling class and certification. That meets the standards of the forest service for firefighting purposes. That course is very good with hands...
I found a post from last year where a guy and dealer thought they had ordered an 881, came in as an 880. Tell your dealer to order one and send it back if it isn't mtronic lol. Stihl is so secretive.

I've haven't heard anything on any saw forums. Most people are waiting on the 462, that could be overshadowing the 880. Usually hear about updates well before any are seen.

I demod a teupen sc69a today. Track lift was clearly better, I know because I brought it and did a side by side. The teupen has a two man basket, which gives it 2 more feet of side reach. It's also 600lbs lighter due to aluminum construction.
I wrote out some specs for a side by side comparison...
74ft tracked lift timing numbers, taken in 10 degree F with 0 degree wind chill.
Full extension to close: 2 min
180 degree rotation: 1 min 20 sec
Close to full extension is faster than the opposite.
The cold slows this lift down immensely. Last winter it was stored inside and started before...
Sounds like you are on the right track. You could check that there is good impulse as well. If there is t good push/pull on the impulse line then it won't get fuel. But since you had a better situation from fixing the flywheel that could be the issue. Get a used flywheel and coil or replace with...
