    T536 LiXP Issues

I did see that, but I would like to know what happens if you put the bar in closer to the power head. He was engaging at the tip and I would feel better doing it myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    T536 LiXP Issues

I spent the day with the saw using it for pruning only. I’m not as disappointed with it’s performance as I thought I would be. It’s a little sluggish and the chain speed is not as fast. My main issues are safety concerns. In the manual it saws that they are not rated for chaps, which means...

    Smaller top handle recommendation needed

It’s a CS 2511T, it’s a half pound lighter and larger displacement. Not sure how they did that. This is his Saw, it is ported so you won’t get the same experience off the shelf. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Vermeer Mini skid steer

I think they are excellent, we upgraded from 725 to 925 recently. I haven’t had a chance on the 925 but the 7’s were great. Track tension is important to keep up on! I’m pretty sure I have the numbers right, but I’ve been wrong before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sold* 150’ New Tangent and Used Treemotion

For sale I have a brand new 150’ tangent rope, never climbed on and only 20’ taken out of the bag. I was given a new rope and bought this right before not knowing I would receive one. It has one spliced eye done by tree stuff purchased fall of 2017. $125 shipped to the lower 48. Next is a...

    Dewalt chainsaw???

I’ve seen nothing good of them, very slow cut times. I held the rear handle one without the battery, so it was pretty light. It’s mostly plastic but good glass fiber reinforced stuff.

New Bucket Purchase. Should I do it?

Yes, but to achieve the reach of a bucket will cost more the 49k. However, you will find far more uses for it than the bucket. Backyard access of a lift is extremely efficient for removals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stihl 261 vs Husky 550xp

The weight is listed as the same for the new version. The old version of the 261 was a bit heavier. I don’t know why Stihl isn’t changing the number of the saw to reflect all the changes in the latest version. It creates confusion and not everyone realizes the differences. The latest saw is...

    Altec vs Terex

We got 3 new rear mount 72 ft elevator altec international trucks 2 years ago. They all have the pistol grip with good logical functionality. Oddly though they each move slightly different from each other. The big downside to them is how much they weigh, but height comes with weight no matter...

    Stihl 261 vs Husky 550xp

I prefer the filtration of the Stihls and the newest version of the 261 is lighter than the 550. It is easier to find a better price on the 550. They are so close to each other now that it’s really a toss up and comes down to small user preferences. I think you will be happy either way. If your...

Anyone here use an old school buckstrap?

If you are asking if it is safe is good. If you aren’t sure than i always default to a for sure method. I’ve not seen a prussic used for a basil anchor though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone here use an old school buckstrap?

And I totally agree with the too much gear...the industry pimps us to buy stuff and the best method for them is to make it seem like nobody uses x method. Everyone uses the new y method and that costs $300. Tree gear is very expensive and I’m still figuring out why. Sent from my iPhone using...

Anyone here use an old school buckstrap?

It’s safe to use the old school method. People like what they like and I would only ever question efficient applications. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone here use an old school buckstrap?

You can be you all you want. But if you ask the efficient climbers, it’s not about taking all the gear up the tree. That is essential gear to be efficient and avoid doing two to three times the work to accomplish the same goal. The industry is advancing at a faster and faster rate, you don’t...

chain/bar issues with STIHL MSA200C battery saw

The little bars are great but not everyone is gentle on saws. They require precision vs strength to do what they were designed to do best. Can’t beat on them like a 3/8th .063 bar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
