    First climb on it today just a quick up and down, taking the lower limb had to swing out to the tip though. did a three to one with a lanyard to get out there. I have to say it is very freaking smooth without the rope wrench and just a little bit of feathering for decent.

    Hey don’t worry everyone, u can now buy the notch upgrade with a new friction plate and tear hole. interesting I’m surprised this was put out to begin with with the apparent design flaw. maybe Kevin Bingham or any of the other others had an issue with this…interesting though.

    I haven’t found any mechanical that doesn’t run well with kalimba. Akimbo 1, rope runner pro and vertex, cbdb, zig zag. It’s a beautiful rope, I don’t even use it for production work.

    Yeah I e watched all of those, Perry trees actually mentioned it ran good in 11 mm but the manual states 11.5 min. I love my km3max and akimbo1 runs great on it. Bummer

    He also mentions the cam wears pretty quickly and that some have even had slippage after a few months, I have yet to see anyone confirm that though. However that cam is replaceable.

    Rope Runner Vertec Question

    I would use a rope smaller in diameter. 11.5 or 11.1. I found larger diameter ropes were more difficult to tend slack with. Currently on km3 max. Vertec setting at 4. 160 without gear
