    Fortunately this saw was more of a want than a need. I did want it as a backup to my 661. And I actually ended up having to buy a new 661 while waiting on this saw due to a cylinder failure.

    Normally I’d be a little more cautions just sending a brand new saw to someone from the internet, but there were several reputable people in the industry who had seemingly good experience with him so I thought he was legit.

    Oh yeah that sounds like the guy I’m speaking of. I have saved all of our emails and texts thankfully. I don’t know how much good they’ll do me other than using them to warn other potential customers. Taking legal action would probably cost me a lot more than the saw

    Thanks for all the feedback guys. I haven’t heard anything from him since yesterday morning and I hope that remains the case. Like many of you have said all reasoning is over with at this point. If I do here anything more out of him he’s gonna play my game or get off the field at that point.

    Yep. I like that. I’ve got a friend who is an attorney. Im thinking of having him call the guy or send him a certified letter and let him know in no uncertain terms that we are not playing his games and any attempt at defamation will be met with swift legal action in civil court.

    Not a bad idea. It’s definitely possible I’ll be having him removed if he shows up, if he has the same attitude in person he has on the phone. Part of me doesn’t really expect him to show up though, I imagine I’ll be blessed with a 1 star Google review and that will be the end of it.

    Same here. We don’t even have a sign at our shop. It’s just irritating when someone threatens to smear your reputation over the actions of another company. I guess that’s one of the “roll with the punches” parts of owning a business.
