    I have what came stock on the spurs, im 5 10 and they are fine for me. And i opted to get the pads with out the steel inserts

    Are you refering to the steel insert in the buckingham pads or the the adjustable steel sleeve thats on the climb right spurs. I got confused sorry

    I opted to not get the steel sleeves in mine, saved me money and dont see why they are necesary. The weaver pads look ok however ive never used them.. i got my buckingham velcro pads from tree stuff.com. check em out on theyre website

    favorite boot spur pad combo to date. Alum climb rights, buckingham velcro pads ,phanner zermat chainsaw boots. Still some discomfort spike climbing but after the years ive become imune to the pain. Spike suck lol

    Im on the same exact rope and climb w a ct quickstep and the haas. And im smooth sailing. Some times il have a co worker hold my line steady or il put weight on the rope below my feet, very rarely i need to do either though. No experience messing w the spring sorry

    Ahhh cmon really!? . Youve used one before? I was hoping itd be a bit better givin, its got a diesel engin in it. Ace power is sellin it for a fair price. Im defntly guna give her a good test run first though

    I some times will use a loop runner to girth hitch to the tree to ditch my climb saw , instead of taking it with me on a long limb walk. If its not needed
