My leaf springs are worn out on my 2001 f 450. I'm looking into replacing them w air bag suspension. The truck is primarily used for hauling my morbark 290 around and chip/ logs... has anybody had any luck w the airbag suspension in a truck of this size?
Somebody at the auction wanted it more than I did lol. It ended up having a blown clutch. Still went for a descent price. Thanks for the info. I had to pass on it
Id second that. I feel like I'm cutting with a light saver!!... notice how the Pacific northwest guys refer to 20 -25 inch saws as "climbing saws", love it much respect!
I'm looking into purchasing 04 bandit 1590 at an upcoming repo auction if the price is right. I know buying from an auction will be a bit of a gamble. So just trying to go into prepared as possible. Soo anything to look out for with this year/ model. Pros cons. I know its pushing it but I plan...
Thanks for the input and advice fellas.. Is anybody familiar w the exact procedure to reset the auto tune, did some research online and came up pretty unsuccessful
Ahhh thanks deevo for the potential bad news! Lol only been running the saw a year if that is the case w the piston failure that will lead me to lose faith big time in newer husqvarna product. Are you familiar how long husky warranties their saws
My 550 xp won't stay running in between cuts I've had the saw on the job now for about a year now.great saw I love it but out of nowhere started giving me this problem. Checked all the obvious things as far as air cleaner clogged clogged baffler screen. Being as how there's no carburetor...
I'd prob be looking for At least 6 for it. But yeah I'm sure you could find a chuck and duck in that price range. For the money thats probably gunna be the most productive
Cheaper route is pallet forks attachment. I've got a 25 hp dingo wheeled machine and you'd be amazed at the logs I'm able to lift and the way I manipulate branches and tops just w those stationary forks. Poor man's grapple!
I can't wait to tell one of my customers "I'm only human were bound to make mistakes" as he or she is staring at a log i mistakenly dropped through their roof.(y)
What methods or solvents do you guys use to clean your ropes of sap. my zig zag And runner at covered also what to do. Any input would be greatly appreciated
