    For those who asked for photos, here is a time lapse taken today. We were able to get the whole tree limbed in 6hrs, fair to say my body is feeling it now. Returning tomorrow to bring the barrel down in bite sized pieces.

    Here in Aus, when we cut clearance on the lines we have to cut to the sky, so no limbs can encroach on our distances over the lines

    Set Up Time?

    Doing line clearnace it probably only takes us 5-10 mins, all our gear is carried in bags, all of mine fits in a large water proof duffle type type bag with backpack straps. Step into saddle, strap spurs on, attach zig zag, clip my 201 on and I'm off.

    Point noted, this particular site has no real drop zone at the base of the tree. Where I work we do some massive eucalypt removals, however we never have a real need for complex rigging, which is a shame because it's something I would like to learn a lot about.

    Just wondering if anyone uses loopies instead of webbing slings for speedlines. The idea of being able to adjust the length easily appeals to me. I have never used a speed/zip line before but have a big bunya pine job coming up where it would be handy
