    Sugoi or Ibuki?

    Ibuki for sure. Alot of the people I know that use the Sugoi have a real problem with the saw staying in its scabbard.

    Straight or curved?

    All Silky's are awsome. My first handsaw was a Zubat, still have it and love it. I also use the Gomtaro Prosentei (staight blade with the very tip of the blade being fine tooth and the rest corse) and its a nice saw if you come across smaller trees like crabs or trees with soft wood.

    best new climbing saw

    For pruning you can't go wrong with the 192t. It does suck for removals though just not enough power. Couple guys I work with just got Husky's new climbing saw, I forget the name of it, but they hate'em. All they talk about is how they wish they still had their 200t!

    Tree Motion Saddle

    very true! I agree with Climber020, being a smaller built climber its really hard to find a saddle that fits just right. If the Treemotion can solve that problem then it's well worth the money in my book!

    Best Rope Ever!

    Blaze is good rope, I'm climbing on it right now, but I know alot of guys that have had problems with milking. The Fly lines by New England are awesome too, by far my favorite. Velocity is equally as good. For static line the KmIII is a great static line!

    Bee-line and Poison Ivy

    I climb on blaze with 8mm beeline. I use a Vt. Like it alot and the beeline feels real nice. Have you tried HRC? Its some of the best hitch cord that I have used!

    That really does suck. At least no one was killed, cars can be replaced. Hopefully lessons were learned, thanks for sharing. Its stories like this that open all of our eyes to the poss. of disaster in this line of work.

    Re: would you let your kid play in this treehouse? The beach pics are sweet. How about that treehouse if thats what you call it! Man it reminds me of the treehouse the neighbor kid's dad built for him. If I knew what I know now I would have never spent the night up there!!

    Man does that suck! Homeowners should always be kept away no matter what! A simple way to go about it is to tell the homeowner that their yard has become a hard hat zone and that tends to keep them away without making you seem like a jerk. It does work, we do it all the time!

    Butterfly 2 or New Tribe Progear ????

    If cash is no option I would def. recommend the Butterfly II. I climb with one everyday and absolutely(?) love it. Try sitting in the both of them for more that a couple of mins. Working in the saddle for a day is also a big help but this can be hard to do unless ya buy it.

    Using high octane fuel in chainsaws

    The company that I work for uses nothing but premium gas in our saws. The saws seem to run alot cleanerwith a lot less acting up. Hey if ya work for a large company use it all the time esp. if their payin'!
