Not redwoods (for now), yet very similar trees with branches that pop off like it is part of the trees design. So far I have been using a big shot and shootings multiple times with several bags. Aloha It is possible. Yet I would definitely not recommend. I cut the plastic cap and taped it back together. And pushed and pulled with a small rope to the point that I almost gave up. Any more force might have compromised the ROOK. Will be replacing with 16 strand for booth bridges soon. And...- Mr. Burns
