    I think the cover may have puckered some when I was tapering it. Maybe I’ll see if I can pull that end apart and rework it. It does fee solid though.

    Here’s an updated set of pics with the o-ring moved. Let me know if it still looks funny, I’ll go back and try something with it if it doesn’t look right.

    I should have taken a pic without the oring as it makes it looks funny, It’s good in the real world. Lol. The oring is an inch or so above the splice. Thanks for the input though.

    Used the method's described on both the Samson Predator rope tether, and then for the 8mm Ocean's poly. I could have gone another 1-2" on length on the Oceans, but once some weight is put on it, it'll be good. This is to be used for a tree saddle for archery hunting. O-ring on the large eye...

    used these methods, and got my i2i done last night. much easier than I thought it was going to be. I ended up using a welding rod to make a wire fid, and a bench vice to hold it to pull the cover/core back thru. it did take a little effort, but getting easier each time. thanks for the input.

    What type of scissors are you guys using for the various ropes? Mainly double braids (poly),Amstel (dynema) ect..... don’t want to spend a lot but it would be nice to have something that might work well. Thanks

    1st post here. I’m looking to do some i2i prusik cords for my hunting saddle. Am I looking to use the Samson double braid instructions with a whip lock sewn on? I’ve done some eye splices on tachyon before, that was tough. Thanks for clarifying. Also, any input on the Brian toss method...
