I have a lightly used 400c that I want to sell but I am not sure what to price it at. Does anyone here have an idea how to price used chainsaws?

I believe the new Stihl saws do, in the engine computer, but only a Stihl dealer can read it.It would be sweet if they had hour tachs on saws
The price at my local saw shop, with a standard 20” bar, is $1079.99. I just looked, because I was in there to pick up some other things.Right on! If I can't sell locally I will definitely send it your way. That's one reason I asked here as well, I couldn't find a price for a new one online, only battery saws?
Once I figure out a figure I'll definitely let you know. One of my favorite saws I've used over the years, just trying to raise money for some other tools currently and this thing is sitting in storage.

That's correct. A local dealer pulled up some specs one of my saws for me. Hrs ran, average time ran between shut offs, number of pulls to last start the saw, rpms it's been running at... pretty impressive that it tracks so much. It is actually quite impressive what those saws know. It’s also amazing how much computer and storage they can pack into such a small machine. That's correct.
