2012 bandit 1590

It's first 3/4 of life it was kept indoors during the winter in Marquette in the UP and not used much as the season shuts down uo there. . It was used here through a few winters. Doesn't have much rust.
 
This chipper is still for sale. Kind of suprised its not been more wanted. I think its just fantastic. Is it that people are all into the big clam trucks and no chipping?
 
Right at the moment it sure looks tempting to me, while I’m working on my old 1590. That one looks nice, if I had the budget I would have interest, but I have no money right now.

We’ve gone the other way, considerably less labor and quicker for a small crew to chip vs grapple truck. Granted it’s a large chipper, which skews the outcome considerably. (415hp 22”)

the size of chippers that you run over there is fascinating to me. people around here do run large drum chippers but that’s more of a specialty. a 10“ chipper would be considered xl around here and a 8“ is still considered quite large. tight old europe i guess :)
