Anyone have or know of one that is for sale. Need the upper boom for a 52’ aerial lift of Connecticut. Mine has a crack in it.

not intending to derail this thread but can you post a pic of the crack if visible or share how it happened if it was a known event, or what lead you to decide to look close enough at it to down the boom etc. Just curious. I've been around aerial lifts for 20 years have not been around one that has had a crack in it yet so curious how it manifested for you.Anyone have or know of one that is for sale. I can visualize this perfectly. Good write up.I will tmrw. Where the upper boom sat in the rear cradle, the underside got soft over the years. One of my employees didn’t collapse the hydraulics when he set it in the cradle. When the truck was driven the next day after hitting a bump in the road the boom jumped out of the cradle and punctured the boom, putting a 3” hole in it. I had that repaired but after a few months a crack started and today worked up the side of the boom and that ended the integrity of the boom.
