Decided to buy the 48", 27 cu ft. BMG mulch bucket.

I've heard an appropriately-sized log in the grapple makes a good spreader, once the mulch is moved.
The tow-capacity of the mini make a small trailer almost a dump trailer. My trailer barely fits my mini, and had loading legs on the the rear to support the trailer frame during loading.
I stick these legs down a bit to protect my lights, and can lift the trailer to 45*. 4' sides on a 5x8 trailer (that hauls the mini) makes a portable ~5 yard chip box that the mini can then move to lots of places a heavy trailer might not go. Dump some here, and here, and here, and spread.
I hardly haul mulch.
