Dog park evergreen planting recommendation

I've been asked to help plant some evergreens in a dog park...
Mature white pines are on site already. But I am hesitant to plant more.
Is there a good shade providing conifer that could be dog piss resistant?

Soil types?

Is fencing them off for a time (to get enough branches above urination height) an option?

Its a very sandy site. Connecticut River Valley. Perfect for growing giant white pine.
Yes fencing is a pissability
But not sure what else might take the abuse?

Austrian pine and eastern redcedar are both salt tolerant...I'd think they would take it better than most others. But they are both relatively short lived trees from a host of other pests...

@ATH thanks for the suggestions I'll look into them. Don't see many eastern red cedars in the nursery system.
I think they were looking for a towering shade tree in time.

If deodara will do well there that's a good one to look at will provide a lot of shade.

I was also thinking eastern red cedar for sandy piss poor soil.

Seems like longer-term fencing might be in order.

We went with Hackberry. It has good mulch and a fence. Time shall tell. Thanks all for the input . Went with the most tolerant native northeast hardwood we could come up with and available in a nursery locally. 3 inch caliper. In the ground now. Up to the volunteers to water. Hopefully it lives a good life!
