Climbers for Christ

What proof is there that Jesus himself wasn't a false prophet?
The book that foretold his coming, also prophesied the fall of the Ottoman Empire, which occurred on the same exact day that was predicted in the Bible, Aug, 11, 1840.
Some say the Ottoman Empire didn’t fall until 1922, that’s when the remains of their empire had fully dissolved, but they fell when they officially surrendered to the Austrian and Hungarian powers, on Aug, 11, 1840.
The only prediction in human history, that was that specifically predicted, and was accurate.

It was such a big story at the time, that secular professors from Harvard and other institutions were so intrigued, they became christian, after looking into it.
It’s hard to find these articles that were published shortly after this event, seemingly because there are people whom don’t want the public knowing this.

I have never heard this story before. Where can I read more about it? Thanks.

No, it was actually a contemporary who interpreted some very vague passages in Revelations and got lucky. Josiah Litch and Millerism were wrong in their prophecies 99% of the time. As the saying goes, "Even a broken clock is right twice a day."

Similar to Nostradamus and a likely case of postdiction.

Good share.

Biblical prophecy is always interesting. In hindsight, there's no other way it could've come together and happened without God's intervention.

I think this current war will last a long time, but I see several scenarios where it can lead to the Battle of Gog and Magog. Nonetheless, God will preserve ethnic Israel.

Hamas called for a, "day of rage".

Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, "Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away theirs cords from us." He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, "As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill." I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, "you are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel." Now therefore O kings, be wise; O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 2 ESV

Looks like Hamas just launched a rocket into their own hospital killing many of their own people.

"The oracle of the Word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him: Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it."

Zachariah 12:1-3 ESV
