Axe pouch weaver alternative?

Looking for an alternative to this weaver product. Any ideas?

looks to be literally the only other option besides weaver. I'm assuming this won't rust?

Made out of aluminum and will last a lifetime, with a little thought towards keeping it from getting crushed while not in use.

Another alternative is to have someone make one from leather. All that's needed is a pattern and a HD sewing machine with a walking foot. Oh, and a piece of leather.

You can also hand stitch it, when I do knife sheaths I glue it up then drill 1/16 holes and double stitch with .8mm ritza tiger thread. They come out solid doesn't take super long either.

Oh one more thing use vegetable/veg tanned leather the other stuff is tanned with corrosive chemicals and will make your axe rust.

I've had a grizzly peak one for a 5-6 years. They hold up really well, never had any issues.
