So he’s finally selling it! how much is he asking?

I hired a guy once who had a lanyard that looked just like that. It was all he used, too. No rope, just spurs and a cut up flipline. If he had to pass a limb on the way up, he would disconnect and hang on with one arm while he threw the line around the trunk above the obstruction.

I tried to teach him some proper techniques, but he didn’t last long here. He was just too hazardous

Wow. That’s even the same saddle I bought the guy that worked for me. He lives here in PA though and does not use computers, so I doubt it’s his. That’s really just funny.
