Sherrill, again

As for Sterling, HTP 11mm is my SRT line and is perfect AND was priced right. I also use the RIT Response 9mm in VT for DDRT. Both are fantastic cordage. For me, the RIT Response is hands down the best DDRT cord on NE Safety Blue that I've ever run in just about every respect. As a bonus, I find that I never have to redress the hitch during a climb ... ever. Not sure what else I'm supposed to be looking for from Sterling.

Customer service at big companies can honestly and truly suck is one reason, Tom.
Bell Canada still periodically sends me an invoice for a 1-800 number I cancelled about 20 years ago. I did try once to actually talk to a human life form there to get the matter settled, and after being transferred to several different departments, was told the bill is computer generated and they cant help me.

The first time I was in a Walmart was about 8 years after they opened in my small home town. They did a huge PR campaign before they broke ground, almost immediately mom and pop shops started closing their doors for the last time. My step brother needed help with a bad battery, I gave him a ride and carried the battery for him, not knowing it was cracked spilling battery acid on my crotch. Kinda felt the wrath of instant karma for entering the gates of hell

Reminds me of the first time a groundie forgot to tighten the fuel cap on my saw and I got a lap full of saw fuel at 150ft. I decided to roll with it and kept working despite the burning sensations emanating from my junk. By the time I hit the ground hours later my poor scrotum was blistered and uglier than normal.

Walmart unfortunately seems to be the only place one can buy the real Fig Newtons, not the new soft and chewy version. The original version was nice and firm, and is still made by Nabisco, but almost no one carries them. I am living proof that Fig Newtons are a complete food and will sustain life indefinitely.

Some people care about the size of walmart and amazon. I prefer to buy from companies who provide a good living to employees and don't destroy competition and create virtual monopolies. I don't always get to shop at mom and pops. Sometimes I choose to shop at walmart and amazon to save time and money. It is a goal of mine to be in a position where I can choose more often to not shop at walmart and amazon.

I see AM Leonard is selling Notch brand equipment. Not exactly monopolistic behavior to well the brand through other retailers...

Yes it is. They also have the exclusive distribution on silky. Wesspur has to get their silkies through sherrel tree. Unless your buying direct from japan, aka amazon

I've bought my last few Silky saws through Amazon because they had a much better price.

Sherrill jumped on the Silky thing a long time ago...before they were absorbing the rest of the industry. Sounds like they just made a great move. Were they even available in the US before that?
